From little things

Santos Museum of Economic Botany and Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide, 2018

EXHIBITION DATES

18 June - 29 July 2018

I was the 2018 artist-in-residence with the Botanic Gardens of South Australia for The Collections Project (a collaborative project between Guildhouse and the Botanic Gardens).

Intrigued by the Garden of Health at the Adelaide Botanic Garden as a resource for contemplation and healing, I created a body of sound and installation works informed by the memories and knowledge held within hundreds of thousands of years of plant medicine. The works responded directly to the site's history and its living collection and extended my current interest in the nature of memory, and the memories of nature.
